This is the early prototype of game "Letters - a written adventure", which was made in 2017 to test game mechanic.

The Players takes on the role of Sarah, who reminisces her friendship with her longtime pen pal, Sasha. By navigating Sarah through her old letters, players learn more about the two and change the course of their friendship. Since Sarah likes to draw, all her letters are full of drawings which block the player’s way. If the pictures are combined with words from the text, they will change and let the players pass.

Playable with an Xbox controller!

This game is simply amazing. I love how you can rearrange the words to affect the drawings in the letters and how the adjectives can be used to change the drawing’s appearance. Also, I liked reading the letters between Sarah and Sasha as it reminded me of when I was writing to my pen-pal during my childhood. 10 / 10

Love the game and looking forward to the full release. Also happy we could help by accidentally breaking the game.

This is a really innovative little adventure! It's not perfect by any means, as there's a lot of constraints and somewhat arbitrary progression, but it's a solid start! Detailed feed back at the end of the vid!

Thank you for playing our game! This was an early prototype, made one year ago.  You can visit our twitter @LettersTheGame if you wonder how it has progressed since then :-)
